Job Description

Our client Wyatt international has an exciting opportunity available for a Marketing/Account Executive to join our team based in Birmingham. This role is hybrid, with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home each week. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,000 - £27,000.

As our Marketing/Account Executive, you will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of allocated accounts by developing, delivering, and measuring effective and impactful multichannel strategies which achieve business and financial objectives.

You will help build the agency’s reputation for client and sector understanding as well as the creativity, quality, and responsiveness of its service.

What you will be doing as our Marketing/Account Executive:

  • Proactively seek out and identify opportunities to create value and increase revenue through cross-selling activities and digital transformation.

  • Support the development of digital initiatives for new business activity (tenders, presentations and pitches), including undertaking research, competitor analysis and benchmarking.

  • Assist cluster teams in creating forward-plans, budgets, and client development strategy.

  • Undertake research to support the development of high quality, creative, strategic and project briefs for clients and for the agency.

  • Live our ’surprising’ value by generating new ideas for clients and the agency, constantly bringing new thinking, dimensions and thought/conversation starters to meetings and calls.

Skills and experience required as our Marketing/Account Executive:

  • Experience of client relationship management, ideally gained in a multichannel marketing communications environment.

  • Strong project management skills and a proven ability to work with digital assets, evidenced by the successful delivery of apps, websites and digital marketing campaigns.

  • Good understanding and appreciation of digital and social media marketing, including SEO, SEM, CRM and analytics.

  • Excellent time and project management capability, including knowledge of Excel and planning systems.

  • Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, in writing and in person.

  • An eye for detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads in a fast-moving, deadline- driven environment.

  • Knowledge of, or interest in marketing communications, preferably supported by a relevant degree or qualification.

  • Demonstrable commitment to customer service and exceeding expectations.

  • Strong research skills, including the ability to assimilate and interpret data and information.

  • A quick learner with plenty of initiative and the ability to work effectively without supervision.

  • Expert in the MS Office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
