Wyatt International has an exciting opportunity available for a PR and Content Manager to join their team based in Birmingham. This role is hybrid, with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home each week. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £27,000 - £35,000.
As their PR and Content Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of allocated accounts by developing, delivering, and measuring effective and impactful multichannel strategies which achieve business and financial objectives.
You will help build the agency’s reputation for client and sector understanding as well as the creativity, quality, and responsiveness of its service.
What you will be doing as their PR and Content Manager:
Leading the PR & Content dimension in support of new business development, ideas generation, strategy, and pitch presentations
Building and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of (and effective partnership with) media outlets
Researching, planning, and creating a detailed schedule of activity for each client and campaign
Developing PR content ideas to promote the agency’s own work and brand promotion
Providing insight, advice, training, coaching, and mentoring to direct line reports
Building highly valued and meaningful relationships with key client stakeholders
Keeping a close eye on campaigns/retainers to ensure regular optimisation and improved results
Ensuring accurate monitoring and measurement of activity by building effective metric dashboards and compiling insightful reports.
Skills and experience required as their PR and Content Manager:
Experience in managing successful PR & content campaigns, either within a marketing agency or in-house
Strategic thinker, with proven capability across strategy and planning; content and design; data and optimisation
Account handling capability – either proven or potential, with the ability to remain focused on customers and quality
A passion for digital marketing, coupled with a good understanding of relevant SEO, Content Marketing and Data tools
Exceptional project management skills including knowledge of Excel and planning systems
Proven ability to coach, mentor and nurture individuals and teams to meet targets and KPIs
Degree educated and/or professionally qualified
Exposure to crisis management PR techniques and tactics
Good operational knowledge of social media platforms including - but not limited to - Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
Strong team-working skills and the ability or potential to lead and direct the work of other team members
