Job Description

We are working with Optera who have an exciting opportunity available for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. You will join on a full-time, permanent basis and in return receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This role is office-based, working with the team at Optera’s head office in Stretton-on-Dunsmore, Rugby.

About Optera:

Optera are in the business of delivering high quality building repairs, with specific areas of expertise. They specialise in large and complex structural repairs primarily within the insurance sector. They operate using a mixture of directly employed staff and freelance/subcontracting staff to provide flexible capacity.

About the role:

You will be providing timely updates and information to clients and customers, ensuring satisfaction through clear communication and complaint resolution.

What you will be doing:

  • Answering calls, providing updates to clients and policy holders, and assisting colleagues.

  • Following up with clients and customers to address any outstanding concerns or inquiries.

  • Managing the diary and scheduling meetings.

  • Managing our internal customer service process.

  • Updating our internal CRM system and ensuring we are system compliant on our clients’ systems.

  • Supporting the team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.

  • Exhibiting polite professional communication via phone, email and mail.

  • Handling customer complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Be friendly and personable, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Have strong attention to detail skills.

  • Be able to effectively follow and manage processes.

  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism.

  • Have good problem-solving skills.

  • Have the ability to work well in a team.

  • Have strong knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) principles.

  • Have a full UK Driving License and vehicle.

  • Have good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office.

  • Be able to work calmly under high-stress situations.
